Salt Lake City Wedding Photographer // Emily + Sawyer's Luxury Wedding

As a Salt Lake City wedding photographer, I absolutely love capturing not only you and your new husband or wife, but also all the big and small details that you have worked so hard to dream up as you’ve planned your wedding day! You’ve spent so many hours picturing the perfect day, organizing all the details, and you’ve spent your hard earned money to bring your vision to life. So I adore being able to preserve those memories and those details on your wedding day.

Salt Lake City Wedding Vendors

Emily and Sawyer’s intimate, luxurious wedding day is a perfect example of these gorgeous details that the couple planned so well! And they had the most amazing vendor team to help them pull it off!

The insanely beautiful florals and decor were done by none other than Details by Laura Lee (on my preferred vendor list, of course, because have you seen her work??). Everything from the tables to the arch, from the bouquet to the aisle pieces, were so incredibly stunning! There is a reason so many vendors, including a Salt Lake City wedding photographer like myself, love working with her — her work is second to none!

I also had the greatest experience working with Altalu Films as their videographer (another of my preferred vendors)! I cannot stress enough how great it is when, as a photographer, I get to work with videographers that are so great at what they do, and work well with me as a photo/video team! When I found out that Emily and Sawyer had booked Altalu Films for videography, I was so excited because I’ve admired his work for such a long time.

Emily + Sawyer’s Wedding Day

Emily and Sawyer’s gorgeous wedding day started with details shots! Both flat lay photos of their invitations and other details, and then lots of photos of their tablescapes, ceremony space, and cocktail area — including some gorgeous drone shots! I absolutely love a good drone shot of the details!

After getting ready photos, it was time for the ceremony! It was such a beautiful ceremony, both in aesthetic and in their sweet vows to each other. We then took a few minutes for family photos, bridal party, and a couple Bridal Portraits of Emily and Sawyer. The swans on the property showed up for us!

Emily and Sawyer had a cute cocktail hour, complete with specialty drinks and a live artist, JJ’s Art Cafe, and the it was off to dinner, including the most touching speeches by their parents.

Golden Hour means gorgeous golden photos! Being a Salt Lake City wedding photographer means we have the most stunning sunsets year-round, and this night was no different. And I love it when couples set aside time in their wedding timeline for golden hour portraits! We were able to get some amazing sun flares — and if you’ve been photographed by me, you know how much I LOVE a good sun flare!

After some fun dancing and late-night messy flat lay photos, we even took some cute photos in front of a projected video of the two of them! To top it all off, Emily and Sawyer ended the night by jumping in the pool! It was so cute and so much fun, everyone jumped in with them!
