Wuthering Heights Photos // Sabrina + Jaxson

This gorgeous evening was the Wuthering Heights styled shoot of my dreams! I have been daydreaming about this wedding concept since there very first teaser of the Wuthering Heights movie. I could not have imagined these photos turning out any more perfectly!

My goal with this styled session was to create dramatic, emotional photos that really brought to life the tangible feelings of that story. I really wanted the feel the yearning, wanted to feel like the photos I created at this session could go perfectly with the soundtrack of the Wuthering Heights movie. In fact, I listed to the soundtrack on the entire drive to the session!

To pull off these Wuthering Heights photos, I wanted to make sure we had a long flowing veil, some dreamy wind, and a gorgeous vintage dress to complete the look. Sabrina had the perfect dress for my vision! She wore her mom’s wedding dress, which was not only sentimental, but absolutely fit the Wuthering Heights vibes perfectly!

This was such an incredible opportunity for me to stretch my creativity and really get extra artistic with this session! I realized just how important it is for me as an artist to have regular creative styled sessions like this. It scratched that creative itch I get as a photographer, and made me understand that I want to do creative sessions like these multiple times per year. In fact, I already have my next concept in mind!

I haven’t read the book or seen the movie quite yet, but both are on my list! So, how did I do with these Wuthering Heights photos?
