Payson LDS Temple // Xenia + Brandon

The Payson LDS Temple is a gorgeous place for a wedding! I had the privilege of photographing Xenia and Brandon’s LDS Temple Sealing on a gorgeous winter evening at the Payson, UT Temple. I’ve photographed weddings several times at this temple, and I love it each time I get to go back! It’s one of my favorites!

Payson LDS Temple Weddings

The Payson LDS Temple has beautiful grounds all times of the year, and the building itself is a beautiful backdrop to your wedding photos. Whether you are being sealed during the winter, like this cute couple, or during the summer months, your photos will turn out beautifully!

LDS Temple Weddings are much different than traditional wedding ceremonies. The ceremonies are held inside the temple, where only those with a temple recommend are able to attend the ceremony, and photography and videography are not allowed inside. The “big moment” of an LDS Temple Wedding, from a photography perspective, is the Temple Exit — the moment the newly married couples walks out of the temple doors as husband and wife.

Even though we don’t take photos of the ceremony itself, LDS Temple Weddings still receive a lot of gorgeous photos. For Xenia and Brandon, their wedding photos were all taken on the temple grounds!

LDS Temple Wedding Bridals

You, of course, don’t have to have all of your Bridals taken exclusively on temple grounds. If you would love your Bridals to include the temple, as well as somewhere in nature, we can schedule a separate Bridals Session for you to have both locations! This is a great way to get a lot of variety for your wedding photos!
